It happens when two or more candidates score equal marks in the SBI Clerk Exam. Then the problem arises of which candidate will be given preference in the selection process. 

So, the following criteria are followed in case of a tie-breaking policy:

• The candidates who belong to the reserved categories like SC, ST, PH, and OBC are given preference.
• If the tie still prevails, if the candidates belong to the general category, then the candidate with the least number of wrong answers will be preferred.
• Even if there is a tie, the older candidates will be given preference.
